✨Start Without A Designer

You Don't Need A Designer To Start
Interior design is a luxury service, and there is absolute value in hiring a professional to help bring your space together. But what if that isn’t in the budget right now? Your home doesn’t have to stay on hold.
Start by paying attention to what you love.
When you see a room that makes you stop scrolling, save it. After a while, go back and look at what you’ve collected. You may start noticing the same colors, textures, furniture styles or details showing up again and again.
Those are clues.
Saves Are Your Clues

And remember, inspiration doesn’t mean duplication.
You don’t need the exact sofa, rug or coffee table from the photo. Ask yourself what you actually love about the room. Maybe it’s the warmth. Maybe it’s the color palette. Maybe it’s how simple and uncluttered everything feels.
Take that and make it work for your home.
Because whether you decorate it yourself or eventually work with a designer, when everyone else goes home, you’re the one who has to live there.
So while you’re waiting for “one day,” start creating something you love today.
And give yourself room to figure it out along the way.
Your style doesn’t have to be perfectly defined before you start. You may try something and realize it isn’t for you. You may love something today and outgrow it later. That’s part of creating a home that feels like you. The more you make choices for your own space, the more confident you’ll become in knowing what belongs.

Find Your Common Thread
Go through your saved posts, Pinterest boards or screenshots and choose 5 rooms you love. Now look at them together. What do they have in common? Is it the color palette? The furniture style? The amount of décor? The textures? The way the room feels?
Write down 3 things that keep showing up.
Those three things are clues to what you love, not what someone else says your home should look like. That’s where you start.
Wishing you a beautiful week!
