Cashmere Rain-Soy Candle
First Burn is Critical
The first time you light your candle, allow it to burn until the wax melts completely across the entire surface to the edges of the container. This typically takes 2-4 hours depending on candle size. This creates a "memory ring" and prevents tunneling, ensuring your candle burns evenly throughout its life.
Burn Time Guidelines
Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Extended burn times can cause the wick to mushroom and the container to overheat. Always allow the candle to cool for at least 2 hours before relighting.
Keep It Clean
Remove any wick trimmings, matches, or debris from the wax pool. These materials can create a fire hazard or affect the candle's burn quality.
Proper Storage
Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Exposure to light and heat can cause discoloration and softening of the wax.
Know When to Stop
Discontinue use when 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the container. Burning beyond this point can cause the container to overheat, crack, or shatter.
Maximizing Candle Life
Center the Wick - If your wick begins to lean to one side while the wax is still melted, carefully straighten it to ensure even burning.
Avoid Drafts - Keep candles away from fans, vents, and open windows. Drafts cause uneven burning, smoking, and rapid wax consumption.
Use a Snuffer - Extinguish candles with a snuffer or by dipping the wick into the melted wax rather than blowing them out. This prevents smoking and wick damage.
Maintain Consistent Temperature - Avoid moving a burning candle or placing it in areas with temperature fluctuations.
⚠️ NEVER leave a burning candle unattended.
⚠️ Keep candles away from children and pets at all times.
⚠️ Place candles on stable, heat-resistant surfaces away from flammable materials including curtains, books, paper, and decorations.
⚠️ Keep burning candles at least 3 inches apart from each other.
⚠️ Do not touch or move a candle while it is burning or when the wax is liquid.
⚠️ Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire.
⚠️ Extinguish candles when leaving a room or before going to sleep.
⚠️ Keep the wax pool free of foreign materials and debris.
⚠️ Do not burn candles in enclosed spaces or use them as a nightlight.
⚠️ If the flame becomes too high or flickers repeatedly, extinguish the candle immediately, let it cool, trim the wick, and check for drafts before relighting.
